This elegant fossil mural features a beautiful array of 50 million year old fossil fish: a large Notogoneus osculus, two Diplomystus dentatus, a Cockerellites liops (formerly known as Priscacara), and eight Knightia eocaena. These fossil fish are from the Eocene Era and are exquisitely preserved in a textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone. The soft beige of this natural limestone provides a perfect contrast for the rich dark brown hues of the fossils.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
