A beautifully preserved grouping of fossil fish flows across the two panels of this dramatic fossil fish mural: a Mioplosus labracoides, two Diplomystus dentatus, a Cockerellites liops, and seven Knightia eocaena are all included. The soft, beige colors of the natural limestone provide a gorgeous backdrop for the rich bronze hues of the fossils. These 50 million-year-old fossil fish are from the Early Eocene Era, and were discovered in our fossil quarry in southwestern Wyoming.

The two panels in this diptych feature a finished beveled edge and are backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This diptych ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
