This large irregularly shaped fossil mural was quarried from a boldly textured limestone containing a variety of warm limestone colors. It contains large and small 50 million-year-old fossil fishes. The fossils include two large and a small Diplomystus dentatus, an 8-1/2" Priscacara serrata, and six Knightia eocaena in sizes from 4" to 6". The mural is backed in wood with finished beveled edges. The stone comes from our private stone quarry located in Southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation. We have added a two-part French cleat to the back for easy and secure hanging.
Our murals ship in custom made wood crates, fully insured against loss or damage.
