A square format, Collector Size mural quarried from our "Fossil Lake" stone layer. Fossil Lake is a beige limestone layer famous for high-quality fossils with exceptional preservation and detail. The fossils were discovered in the Green River Formation of southwestern Wyoming. They include a large and small Diplomystus dentatus, a large Mioplosus labracoides, a Cockerellites liops, and 7- Knightia eocaena. The mural dates to the Early Eocene (50 million years old). it is supplied framed in a hand-made Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a two-part French cleat on the back. The mural arrives ready to hang.
