This fossil fish mural was quarried from our "Fossil Lake" stone layer. It contains 4 fossil fish, an 8" Diplomystus dentatus, and 3- Knightia eocaena in sizes between 5" and 6". The mural has bold textures and soft color shifts. The fossils date to the Early Eocene, 50 million years old. It was unearthed from our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation. The mural is supplied framed in a handmade Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a hanging cleat.
