Description: This striking fossil fish mural features a 22" Notogoneus oculus, two Diplomystus dentatus measuring 17" and 6-1/2", a 9" Mioplosus labracoides, three Cockerellites liops measuring between 4" and 5", and four Knightia eocaena ranging from 6" to 6-3/4″. This dramatically scaled mural features soft colors and exceptional fossils. It was quarried from the "Fossil Lake Classic" layer in our fossil quarry in southwestern Wyoming.

This elegant fossil fish mural works equally well in a vertical or horizontal presentation. The dramatic flow of 50 million year old fossil fish is comprised of a large Notogoneus osculus, two Diplomystus dentatus, a Mioplosus labracoides, three Cockerellites liops, and four Knightia eocaena. These exquisite, nautural fossil fish are perfectly preserved in a richly textured background of fossil bearing limestone from our fossil quarry in the Green River Formation.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
