Description: A large vertical Gallery-size fossil fish mural quarried from a rare dark limestone layer called the "FLG" stone layer. This layer is noted for large and small fossils of exceptional quality. The fossils include an 18", 15" and an 11" Diplomsytus dentatus, a 5-1/4" Cockerellites liops, and 11- Knightia eocaena in sizes between 5-1/2" and 6-1/2".

This large vertical Gallery-sized fossil fish mural was quarried from a rare dark limestone layer in our quarry called the "FLG" layer, The fossils are exceptional in preservation quality and detail. They include three large Diplomysuts dentatus in sizes of 18", 15", and 11", a Cockerellites liops measuring 5-1/4", and eleven Knightia eocaena in sizes between 5-1/2" and 6-1/2". The mural is supplied framed in a hand-made Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a two-part French cleat on the back. The age of the fossils is 50 million years old. The stone comes from the Green River Stone quarry in southwestern Wyoming.
This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
