example of the reverse side of a framed mural

This fossil fish mural features three Diplomystus dentatus and three Knightia eocaena in a richly hued limestone. The stone is our "Steel Blue Lake" stone layer, a layer unique to our quarry. The 50-million-year-old fossils are from the Early Eocene and were discovered in our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation.

The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. It ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
