Description: Quarried from our Fossil Lake Classic stone layer, the expansive fossil mural features a 15" Notogoneus osculus, a 5-1/2" Cockerellites liops, and three Knightia eocaena. The mural offers subtle warm beige colors and complex textures that contrast the darker fossil colors. The stone was unearthed from our private quarry, part of the Green River Formation of Southwestern Wyoming.

This fossil mural features an uncommon Notogoneus osculus, a Cockerellites liops, and three Knightia eocaena, in a sparse composition that highlights a delicately detailed stone matrix. The preservation and detail found in these fossil fish are exceptional. Collected from the “Fossil Lake Classic” layer in our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and backed with wood, featuring a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
