Description: This dramatically hued fossil limestone was quarried from the “Fossil Lake” stone layer in our quarry, located in southwestern Wyoming. The assortment of beautifully preserved, 50 million-year-old fossil fish includes a 20" Notogoneus oculus, two Diplomystus dentatus measuring 7-1/2" and 8-1/4", and two 6" Knightia eocaena.

This elegant fossil fish mural features a rare Notogoneus osculus, two Diplomystus dentatus, and two Knightia eocaena. These 50 million-year-old Eocene-era fossils are gorgeously preserved in a textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
