Description: This subtly colored fossil limestone was quarried from the “Fossil Lake” stone layer in our quarry, located in southwestern Wyoming. The collection of 50 million-year-old fossil fish includes a 15-1/2" Mioplosus labracoides, a 13-1/2" Diplomystus dentatus, a 5" Cockerellites liops, and two Knightia eocaena measuring 4-1/2" and 5".

This irregularly shaped fossil mural presents an array of beautifully preserved 50 million-year-old fossil fish. The fossils include a large example of a Mioplosus labracoides, a Diplomystus dentatus, a Cockerellites liops, and two Knightia eocaena. The elegant gray and beige stone was quarried from our private stone quarry located in southwestern Wyoming.
The mural is finished with beveled edges and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
