Our classic fossil triptych mural is the perfect backdrop for a flowing assortment of natural Early Eocene-era fossil specimens from the Green River Formation in Wyoming. The fossils include a Notogoneus osculus, two Diplomystus dentatus, a Mioplosus labracoides, two Cockerellites liops, and seven Knightia eocaena. The age of the fossils is approximately 50 million years old.

The subtle layers of color and physical texture in the stone provide an exceptional visual contrast to the intricately formed fossils. This warmly-hued fossil limestone came from our Fossil Lake Classic layer.

This fossil mural is supplied with finished beveled edges. It is backed in wood with an aluminum French cleat system. This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage, and is ready for immediate installation.
