Our classic fossil triptych mural is the perfect backdrop for a flowing assortment of Early Eocene-era fossil specimens from the Green River Formation in Wyoming. The fossils include a Notogoneus osculus, a Diplomystus dentatus, four Priscacara serrata, two Cockerellites liops, and six Knightia eocaena. The age of the fossils is approximately 50 million years old.
The layers of color and the bold physical texture in the stone provide an exceptional visual contrast to the intricately formed fossils. This warmly-hued fossil limestone came from our "Fossil Lake Classic" stone layer.
This fossil mural is supplied with finished beveled edges. It is backed in wood with an aluminum French cleat system. This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage, and is ready for immediate installation.
