This irregularly shaped mural contains a fragment of a large undescribed leaf similar to an Elephant Ear or Colocaisa sp. Larger leaves like this are considered rare in the Green River Formation. This one measure 14" tall. The age of the leaf is Early Eocene, 50 million years old. The stone has been mounted to a wood backing with finished beveled edges. We have attached a French cleat to the back for easy hanging.

We ship our murals in custom-built wood crates, fully insured against loss or damage.
