This large irregularly shaped fossil mural was quarried from a light beige limestone containing a variety of large and small 50 million-year-old fossil fishes. The fossils include a Notogoneus osculus, a Phareodus testis, two large and one small Diplomystus dentatus, and seven Knightia eocaena. The mural is backed in wood with finished beveled edges. We have added a two-part French cleat to the back for easy and secure hanging

This mural ships in a custom-built wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
