This 50 million-year-old fossil palm frond dates to the Early Eocene and is exquisitely preserved in a sculptural bed of natural, fossil-bearing limestone. The soft beige and rich brown tones of this natural limestone provide a perfect contrast to the rich dark hues of the fossil. This important palm specimen was discovered in our quarry in southwestern Wyoming.
