Description: A fossil fish triptych quarried from our "Fossil Lake" stone layer. The stone had bold textures and beige and yellow/ brown colors. The fossils include a rare 20" Notogoneus, an 18-1/2" Diplomsytus, a 6-1/4" Mioplosus, 5- Cockerellites in sizes between 5" and 5-1/4", and 4- Knightia 4-1/2" to 6".

This is a Gallery-sized fossil fish mural is in three sections (Triptych). The stone is from our "Fossil Lake" layer. The fossil fish include a large Notogoneus osculus, a large and small Diplomystus dentatus, 4- Knightia eocaena, 4- Cockerellites liops, and a Mioplosus labracoides. The composition of fossils provides a flowing movement, unique colors, and textures. This Early Eocene, 50 million-year-old fossil mural is supplied backed in wood with finished beveled edges. French cleats have been attached to the mural backs for easy hanging.
