This Accent-sized fossil mural is among our most rare and unique finds! It features a Hummelichelys guatta (soft Shell turtle). Very few turtles of this type have ever been found in the Green River Formation. At 17" in length, it is almost twice the size of all other known specimens. This fossil turtle is remarkable in preservation quality, detail, and completeness. Its age is 50 million years old. The mural is supplied framed in a handmade Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a two-part French cleat added for secure hanging.
